Job Summary
Room patients, collect patient information, and prepare individuals for examination while assisting with overall delivery of patient care. Receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope, with onsite training required to obtain and maintain a Washington State MA-R credential. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and either a nationally recognized MA certification, formal MA program completion, EMT training, or CNA certification. Experience with electronic health records is required, with Epic experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification
- Completion of a formal MA program
- Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
- EMT training and certification
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification
- Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment
- Current healthcare provider BLS
- Experience with an electronic health record
- Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas
