Job Summary
Room patients, collect information, and prepare individuals for examination while assisting with the delivery of patient care. Receive additional hands-on training to work at the top of scope and obtain the Washington State MA-R credential. Maintain an active Medical Assistant credential throughout employment and hold current healthcare provider BLS certification. Experience with an electronic health record is required, with Epic experience strongly preferred. Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification
- Completion of a formal MA program
- Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
- EMT training and certification
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification
- Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment
- Current healthcare provider BLS
- Experience with an electronic health record
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
