Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive primary care patient visits, including preventive wellness, acute condition management, and chronic disease monitoring within the Big Rapids Family Medicine clinic. Perform clinical support duties by assisting physicians and advanced practice providers with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation while collaborating with a diverse team of internal medicine and pediatric providers. Deliver coordinated, patient-centered care across all stages of life in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program
- 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
