Job Summary
Room patients, collect patient information, and prepare individuals for examination while assisting with overall delivery of patient care. Receive additional hands-on training to work at the top of scope, with EMT and CNA backgrounds welcome to apply. Obtain and maintain an active Washington State Medical Assistant credential within the required timeframe. Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule with onsite training. Requires high school diploma, nationally recognized MA certification, or equivalent experience/training including EMT or CNA credentials. Current healthcare provider BLS required; Epic experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification
- Completion of a formal MA program
- Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
- EMT training and certification
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification
- Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment
- Current healthcare provider BLS
- Experience with an electronic health record
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
