Job Summary
The Medical Assistant assists with non-invasive medical procedures (e.g., taking vital signs), prepares and cleans exam rooms, handles patient intake (including reporting test results and phone triage), documents medical information, and supports administrative duties such as pre-registering patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and verifying insurance. Maintains organized workload, monitors supplies, educates patients on medications and diets, and ensures efficient clinic operations while providing courteous service to providers, patients, and visitors. Requires MA program completion (preferred) and BCLS certification; 0-1 years of experience preferred. Full-time position based in Granbury, TX at Lakeside Physicians; not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
