Job Summary
Conduct detailed patient triage, measure vital signs, and perform basic lab procedures including EKGs and phlebotomy. Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision while managing exam room setup and patient education on discharge instructions. Complete administrative tasks such as EMR documentation, checklists, and inventory logs. This role requires working 13+ hour shifts with weekend and holiday flexibility, lifting 25 lbs, and standing for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and clinical externship
- CPR Certification
- Willingness to comply with the company travel policy
- Ability to work 13+ hour shifts, stand/walk for long periods, and lift 25 lbs.
- Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Superior customer service skills
- A high level of professionalism
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- CMA, RMA, or CCMA Certification
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital
