Assist physicians and advanced providers with patient exams, procedures, medication administration, and testing under supervision. Manage front desk operations including patient registration, insurance billing, and payment collection. Maintain a schedule of six months healthcare experience and six months medical assistant experience, with Washington Medical Assistant Certification and National Provider BLS required upon hire. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
