Job Summary
Medical Assistant supports the clinical care team by preparing encounters, performing medication reconciliation, documenting in patient records, hosting telehealth sessions, and ensuring smooth scheduling and patient flow. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling and triage, collecting and routing clinical paperwork, ensuring proper discharge planning, and maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA. The role involves fieldwork traveling to facilities up to 60 miles from home, typically Monday–Friday dayshift, with mileage reimbursement provided. Requires High School Diploma or equivalency; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; typing speed 45 wpm or greater; CMA certification is a plus; prior medical scribing experience preferred.
