Job Summary
Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to the healthcare team under the direction of the nurse or provider. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, updating EHR, administering injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal), preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, documenting care, processing referrals, conducting follow-up calls, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. Requires completion of a Medical Assistant program, CPR/BLS certification, and a high school diploma or GED; 1+ year of MA experience and EHR experience required; ability to work Saturdays; travel and reliable transportation may be required. Epic experience preferred.
Required Qualifications

- CPR/BLS certification
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or greater experience as a Medical Assistant
- Experience working in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
