Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, notify providers when ready, and ensure lab results are charted before appointments. Conduct initial visits by obtaining vital signs, verifying medications and allergies, and preparing patients for examinations. Assist providers during procedures, collect specimens, administer injections and vaccinations, perform phlebotomy, and manage wound care. Administer EKGs and nebulizer treatments, transmit prescription refills, and update medical records using EMR software. Inventory office supplies and follow up on diagnostics. Requires three years of clinical experience, certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable medical codes. Full-time role with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of clinical experience
- Medical Assistant certification or higher (EMT, RN, LPN)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Close and distance vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust your focus
