Job Summary
Schedule appointments, collect vital signs, and room patients for examinations and minor surgical procedures. Administer injections, perform point-of-care testing, and scribe patient visits for EMR documentation. Assist providers during exams and treatments, sterilize instruments, and manage clinical inventory and medication samples. Verify patient charts, initiate prior authorizations, and triage clinical calls while maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards. Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and support new staff training. Work Monday through Friday in a clinical office setting with occasional after-hours meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 – 2 years of clinical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to move throughout the office as needed, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting
- Manual dexterity for handling equipment
- Ability to push, pull, and carry items as required
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
