Medical Assistant, ENT

Provide full-scope medical assistant support for an ENT practice, including taking vital signs, interviewing patients, preparing examination rooms, collecting specimens and performing phlebotomy if competent, documenting information in the patient’s medical record, explaining procedures and medications, assisting with immunizations and vaccine administration, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and acting as a liaison with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff. Responsibilities include office duties, education material organization, and collaboration to facilitate efficient patient care; may float to other departments within the WHP system as needed for coverage. Strong EHR proficiency and a patient-centric approach are essential; onboarding and mentorship of junior MAs is included.
