Medical Assistant - ENT - Emergency Relief

The Medical Assistant performs clinical and some administrative functions under the guidance of medical group providers. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for examination, taking and recording vital signs, obtaining patient histories, assisting with procedures, and managing prescription refills and prior authorizations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, customer relations skills, and current knowledge in patient care across various age groups are essential. CPR certification is required within 90 days of employment. Preferred qualifications include various healthcare certifications.
