Medical Assistant - Endocrinology

Endocrinology Medical Assistant assists with rooming patients, obtaining medical history and vital signs, and coordinating care within a value-based, patient-centered endocrine clinic. Responsibilities include performing point-of-care testing (glucose, HbA1c), assisting with procedures and injections (e.g., insulin, vitamin B12), collecting and processing specimens, educating patients on medication usage and glucose monitoring, accurately documenting in the EHR, managing messages and prior authorizations, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and daily clinic huddles.
