Job Summary
Manage incoming and outgoing patient communication, schedule appointments, and handle prior authorizations. Prepare patient charts, organize exam rooms, and sterilize instruments. Escort patients to providers and assist with minor procedures, injections, and prescription refills. Download diabetic patient status from Dexacom. Adhere to the Tuesday-Friday (8:00-5:00) schedule. Work under the supervision of a Physician Assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant (i.e.: CMA or RMA)
- Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire
- Completes all tasks within established time frame
- Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles
- Medicare Exclusion List
Desired Qualifications
