Medical Assistant - Endocrinology

Prepare examination rooms, escort patients, and maintain efficient patient flow while obtaining vital signs and documenting in the EHR. Answer telephone calls, direct inquiries, and schedule appointments according to departmental guidelines. Reconcile encounters daily, stock supplies, and adhere to universal safety precautions when administering medications. Provide scribing services and facilitate transition of care to UCC or hospital as needed. Perform duties within scope of practice, including reviewing medication lists and documenting allergies.
