Job Summary
Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the Endocrinology Clinic with a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team structure. Perform daily tasks as delegated by the physician to support excellent patient care in our northwest Arizona location. Full-time day shift hours run from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
- Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
- If Medical Assistant training program was not approved by one of the above agencies, have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following: National Healthcareer Association: CCMA, American Medical Technologist: RMA, American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA, National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA, American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
- Able to distinguish appropriate colors
- Ability to work above or below shoulder level
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Walk or be on feet 90% of the day
