Job Summary
Deliver patient care across fast track, med/surg, and critical care settings while performing splinting, dressing applications, wound care, and EKGs with cardiac monitoring. Assist in procedure setup for I&D, suture, vaginal exams, lumbar punctures, and chest tubes, then accurately triage and discharge patients of all ages. Manage patient tracking systems, input discharge instructions and prescriptions into software, and turn over rooms per protocol. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with up to 30% travel to support clinic operations across the market.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year's experience
- BLS certified
- Advanced English
- Ability to work during the week from 9am-7pm; weekend days from 9am-4pm
- Successfully pass a background and drug test
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage changing priorities
- Attention to detail, attentiveness, computer skills, ability to follow written procedures
- Basic math calculations, independent decision making
- Interaction with others using tact and professionalism
- Problem solving
- Reading comprehension, verbal communication
- Writing composition
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences)
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year previous related experience (Paramedic, EMT, ER Technician)
- Paramedic or EMT experience is experience
- Spanish and Creole
