Job Summary
Coordinate patient care for psychiatrists, PAs, and APRNs by performing genetic testing, managing medication orders, and handling prior authorizations within 24 hours. Welcome clients to examination rooms, take vitals and medical histories, and ensure accurate medication documentation while removing unnecessary medications. Initiate and complete all relevant documentation, triage phone calls, and respond to Athena messages promptly. Maintain patient records, file charts, and provide education on prescribed medications. Support the comprehensive care mission of Elite DNA Therapy Services, which specializes in behavioral and mental health services including EMDR and psychosocial rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Proficient oral and written communications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service skills
- Positive interpersonal relationship skills
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Effectively uses Electronic Health Records
- Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 Coding procedures
- Knowledge of medication procedures
Desired Qualifications
