Job Summary
Manage patient rooming, update medical histories, and document visit details while assisting with dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Collaborate to handle up to 40 patients daily, administer local anesthesia, and remove sutures under physician direction. Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols while performing scribing, processing prescription refills, and managing prior authorizations. Operate specialized equipment including Narrowband UVB units and maintain liquid nitrogen containers. Clean examination rooms and stock supply areas. Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of medical assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
