Medical Assistant - Digestive Health - Wexford - Full Time

Conduct patient intake by interviewing individuals to gather medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height. Assist physicians during examinations by handing instruments, performing injections, and preparing treatment rooms with proper supply management and biohazard disposal. Schedule procedures and obtain necessary authorizations while utilizing the EHR system for front-office duties. Collect and log laboratory specimens for testing where applicable. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security guidelines. Requires CPR certification and criminal background clearance.
