Job Summary
Be part of UW Health's dermatology team providing hands-on assistance with dermatology or Mohs surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and suture removals. Facilitate services such as phototherapy, photodynamic therapy or laser procedures, and deliver patient- and family-centered care while promoting healthy lifestyles and education. Works within a fast-paced dermatology clinic alongside dermatologists and APPs, contributing to a positive, patient-focused environment and supporting ongoing professional development through offered CEUs and training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or Licensure as an LPN or Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated
- One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
- CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
