Medical Assistant (Dermatology Office)

Medical Assistant needed for dermatology clinic in Placerville to support patient care in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients and preparing them for exams, recording medical histories and vitals, assisting physicians during exams and surgical procedures, maintaining sterile fields, educating patients on treatments and aftercare, administering medications as directed, handling prescription refills and pharmacy communication, stocking and organizing supplies, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate documentation in EMR, and ensuring smooth clinic flow. Requires CMA certification, CPR, and a high school diploma or equivalent; dermatology experience preferred and 2+ years of clinical experience desirable. Strong communication, attention to detail, HIPAA compliance, and ability to multitask are essential.
