Job Summary
Medical Assistant supports dermatology clinic operations: assists with examinations and treatments under supervision, performs selected clinical duties, interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information, prepares treatment rooms, handles basic clerical tasks (phone, records, filing), manages supplies, and maintains a clean, safe patient environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (or 10 years of work experience with medical assisting training) and BLS certification; location-specific licensure may apply; position is full-time with day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience and graduate from a medical assistant school or training program or education equivalency for certification
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
