Job Summary
Medical Assistant role in a dermatology practice providing patient care under a provider's direction. Responsibilities include patient intake, procedure setup, phlebotomy, assisting providers with examinations, measuring and recording patient information, processing lab specimens, communicating treatment instructions, sterilizing instruments, documenting visits and billing, and training new staff. Requires phlebotomy skills; CMA/CNA credentials preferred; ability to travel to other locations in the zone. Schedule consists of 3 days of 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) plus one Saturday per month (6:45 AM–12:30 PM).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Phlebotomy skills
