Medical Assistant - Days

Medical Assistant position in outpatient setting with Day shift (8:00am-4:30pm) in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Responsibilities include basic direct patient care such as taking vital signs and assisting with ambulation and dressing, preparing for examinations, supporting minor procedures, obtaining and documenting patient information in the EMR using the rooming tool, performing medication review, assisting clinicians during exams, reinforcing instructions to improve adherence, collecting lab specimens and completing related paperwork, ensuring patient safety, reporting concerns, assisting with inventory and room prep, maintaining cleanliness, disinfecting/sterilizing equipment, assisting with transport of non-controlled medications, and supporting a clean, organized clinical environment. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred; Basic Life Support certification within 6 months.
