Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant position at Montage Medical Group across Monterey Peninsula clinics (Monterey, Carmel, Marina). Responsible for preparing patients for physician evaluation, taking vitals, assisting physicians with exams and procedures (injections, immunizations, EKGs, lab tests), administering medications under physician direction, performing point-of-care tests, maintaining patient charts in electronic medical records, coordinating referrals, restocking and maintaining supplies, and providing clerical support and patient coordination. Requires Certificate of Medical Assisting, strong customer service, ability to work as part of a healthcare team, and adherence to HIPAA and California Scope of Practice; bilingual may be preferred. Work locations include Carmel, Monterey, and Marina, CA.
