Job Summary
Medical Assistant at Oak Street Health to gather all necessary medical information for providers, assist in patient flow and care team collaborations, perform screenings and point-of-care tests (A1C, spirometry, EKGs, blood draws), administer vaccinations as allowed by state regulations, import documents into EMR, support telephonic requests, and ensure infection control and quality in clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
- State or national certification (as required by state) or graduation from an accredited medical assistant course
- 1 year experience as a medical assistant
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Electronic Medical Record experience
- Computer skills (Gmail/Word/Excel or Google Docs/Sheets)
- US work authorization
