Job Summary
Efficiently perform a wide variety of clinical and administrative duties for medical office outpatients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or licensed Advanced Practice Provider. Serve as an important role on the care team to assist the provider with outcome-based patient care while utilizing a team-based approach to all tasks. Maintain proficiency in basic job aspects within three months of employment through given training and on-the-job experience, including required BCLS certification. Requires one year of healthcare experience using an electronic health record system, with telemedicine experience considered as clinical duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting performing clinical responsibilities using an electronic health record system (EHR)
- Telemedicine experience
- Enrollment in classes related to the medical field
Desired Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in a healthcare setting functioning in an area with clinical responsibilities using an Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
