Job Summary
Prepare and organize exam rooms, obtain patient medical histories, and measure vital signs while recording data in electronic health records. Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals, evaluate schedules to remind patients of appointments and medication lists, and ensure vendor access does not interfere with care. Adhere to CMS, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations while communicating professionally with patients, physicians, and co-workers. Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and organization with little supervision needed. Requires CMA or RMA certification, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certification
- Good communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- CMA or RMA certification required
