Medical Assistant- Concierge Medicine

Job Summary
Manage patient flow and perform diagnostic procedures including EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and vital signs while assisting physicians with examinations. Document clinical care quality measures, medical history, and interact with staff to ensure proper identification and patient satisfaction. Maintain clinical supply inventory to facilitate smooth office operations and adhere to HIPAA privacy requirements. Requires HS diploma or equivalent with Medical Assistant certification obtained within six months, plus BLS certification within 90 days. Full-time day shift position at Jefferson Community Physicians in Philadelphia.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- BLS through the America Red Cross
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical office procedures
- Lift and carry 25 lbs
- frequent sitting/standing
- frequent keyboard use
- patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR
