Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure thorough cleaning and stocking. Review medical information and gather updated health data to inform the provider. Perform clinical tasks including vitals, blood draws, injections, wound care, and administering medications and immunizations per provider orders. Manage front desk duties such as patient scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, check-in/check-out, and coordinating specialist visits. Process test results and provide timely updates to patients. Maintain clinical supplies and equipment. Work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am to 4pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 7pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- MA certification or registration
- CPR/BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration (where not required by law)
- Phlebotomy experience
