Job Summary
Clinical Technologist/Medical Assistant supports patient flow and clinical duties in a fast-paced vein and vascular clinic; duties include patient rooming, vitals documentation, procedure support, room/sterile technique, HIPAA compliance, EMR documentation (eCW), inventory management, and adherence to CDC/OSHA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
- Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
- Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
