Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist, Part-Time- Beachwood & Mentor, OH

Job Summary
Greet patients, manage front-end support including scheduling, phone calls, and payments, and perform patient care activities such as rooming patients virtually or in person and updating charts. Collect and process lab specimens, obtain prior authorizations, and triage patient communications while ensuring efficient exam room turnover and disinfection. Assist providers in the exam room, handle mail and deliveries, and manage supply orders under manager direction. Work part-time (20-25 hours/week) on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification prior to start date
- 1 year of experience working within a clinical environment
- 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role
- Oncology or infusion experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Excellent visual acuity
