Job Summary
Medical Assistant - clinical, full-time role in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities include assisting the physician with patient care, preparing patients for exams (including taking history and vitals and phlebotomy), documenting patient care in the EMR, organizing, stocking, and sterilizing rooms and instruments, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling general administrative tasks. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (certified or registered MA preferred), BLS, 2 years of experience (OB/GYN experience preferred), phlebotomy experience preferred, proficiency with keyboarding and EMR, and knowledge of HIPAA.
