Medical Assistant Clinical - Full-Time

Medical Assistant on the CARE TEAM at OPA supports patient experience by collaborating with providers and staff to ensure appropriate care, while handling administrative, environmental, and organizational tasks to keep the clinic efficient. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting visits in the electronic health record, stocking and maintaining exam rooms, complying with HIPAA and state laws, answering and following up on patient calls, assisting with scheduling, and communicating effectively with patients, providers, and staff. The role emphasizes maintaining a professional presence, reporting concerns, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience such as one year in a clinical medical assistant role or externship, or a licensed/certified nursing or medical assistant credential.
