Medical Assistant Clinic

Prepare patient charts, obtain vital signs, and position patients for examinations under provider supervision. Perform basic lab procedures including phlebotomy, EKGs, and administering approved medications via various routes. Document medical visits and procedures in the electronic medical record, entering patient history, exam results, and provider instructions. Review documentation to validate information and identify inconsistencies. May pend laboratory and radiology orders for provider sign-off. This role supports a full spectrum of health care services across 10 hospitals and nearly 300 care sites in the Puget Sound region.
