Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits and minor procedures while obtaining and documenting vital signs. Accurately chart patient information using NextGen EMR and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment to support both clinical and administrative office operations. This role involves Monday–Thursday coverage from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with full-time hours ranging from 30 to 35 per week. The team is a busy outpatient practice seeking compassionate professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
- 1+ year of experience taking vital signs
- 2+ years of medical terminology experience
- 1+ year of NextGen EMR experience (required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
