Job Summary
Provide clinical and front-office patient care in a dermatology setting. Duties include evaluating skin conditions, taking and updating medical histories, recording dermatologic symptoms, informing patients about treatments, conducting non-intrusive medical procedures, educating patients on preventive skin care, and screening patients and employees upon entry. Requires strong customer service and computer literacy; dermatology experience is preferred. CPR certification is strongly preferred or obtainable within 4 weeks of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- Must be computer literate
- CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
- At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
- MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
