Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care, including taking vitals, drawing injections, and labeling specimens. Prepare forms and requisitions, obtain prior authorizations, and ensure medical records are complete. Maintain examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and monitor task buckets in the EMR. Provide patient education and exceptional customer service while adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards. Requires reliable transportation for potential travel between locations. Full-time role Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with benefits including 401K, dental, vision, and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- knowledge of the internet and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service
- ability to work well under pressure, especially regarding patient health and emergency situations
- ability to multi-task and prioritize
- reliable transportation, as work assignments may be needed at any of the company's locations
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university
- One (1) year of prior experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
