Job Summary
Conduct well child care, medication rechecks, behavioral health management, same-day and ill appointments, and medication or vaccine administration. Support the pediatric team at the Southwest Children's Clinic by assisting nurses and providers during day shifts from 7:50 to 4:30, Monday through Friday. Work 2 to 6 days per pay period in a fast-paced environment, with on-call rotation for same-day coverage. Maintain National Medical Assistant Certification and North Dakota MAIII registration, completing Basic Life Support training within six months. Cross-train with other Pediatric Clinics in the Fargo Moorhead community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
- Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
- North Dakota (ND) registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
