Job Summary
Assist physicians, mid-level practitioners, and nurses with patient evaluation, management, and treatment in an ambulatory care setting. Maintain patient flow, manage exam and treatment rooms, and perform vital signs, point of care testing, intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under physician direction. Work scheduled hours traveling between all office locations where assigned providers host clinics, with shifts ranging from 7AM to 7PM and potentially including weekends. This role supports Chicago ENT's comprehensive ENT care across specialties including ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Current CPR Certification
- Must be available to work scheduled hours travel between all office locations where their assigned provider hosts clinic
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up-to 30 pounds
- All employees are required to provide proof of vaccination or exemption
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
- Minimum of two years clinical experience
- Previous surgical experience
- Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
- Current Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
