Job Summary
Medical Assistant to join Chaparral Medical Group in partnership with Akido Labs. Responsibilities include taking vitals and initial patient intake, guiding patients to exam rooms, preparing patients for physician exams, assisting during examinations, performing basic point-of-care testing and vaccine administration as ordered, helping patients understand care plans, and assisting with scheduling, referrals, and care coordination. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving in office settings, and supporting providers with ad hoc requests. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant certificate in California
- BLS certification
- Basic office equipment and computer skills
- A proven track record for working as a punctual, collaborative and flexible team player.
