Job Summary
Provides assistance with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider (physician or advanced practice provider). Assists with treatments ordered by provider, performs select clinical duties, interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patient charts. Prepares treatment rooms, handles basic clerical duties (answering phones, scheduling, filing), manages supplies, maintains clean/ orderly environment, documents encounters, lists diagnoses/symptoms and follow-up instructions, transcribes orders for labs/radiology/medications, and supports safe delivery of care. Requires High School diploma/GED or equivalent and MA certification; BLS required; valid MA certifications from listed credentialing bodies. Physical demands include standing/walking, lifting, pushing/pulling, and occasional driving. Works Day Shift, Part-Time in Urgent Care setting in MO/WI/IL/OK per location. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience and graduate from medical assistant school or training program or education equivalency for certification

- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
