Medical Assistant Certified - ONC

Medical Assistant-Certified role at Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Battle Ground, WA. The MA serves as the hub of the care team, ensuring patient-centered primary care by reviewing and addressing clinical quality measures, coordinating referrals, administering injections and medications, assisting with charting and rooming, and supporting care coordination to improve outcomes. Responsibilities include thorough EHR reviews, coordinating internal and external referrals, maintaining medication and immunization records, assisting with GYN exams and minor procedures, providing excellent customer service using AIDET, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and supporting a high-volume daily patient load (approximately 18–21 visits per provider daily). The position requires MA-Certified status or MA-Interim license with exam within 90 days, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, NPSG, PCMH, QI) and Sea Mar policies. The work environment may involve travel to other Sea Mar sites if needed, and the schedule includes an 8am start with a target to service multiple patients daily. Hourly wage offered: $24.09/hour.
