Job Summary
Perform all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role with full competence in assigned clinic functions, including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients while adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain clinical skills through required training, including Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire and National Provider BLS within 30 days. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
