Job Summary
Obtain vital signs, administer injections, and perform medication administration for assigned patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. Complete all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role while adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain full competency in clinical needs for the clinic location and ensure Washington Medical Assistant Certification is achieved upon hire. This role requires one year of Medical Assistant experience including six months of healthcare experience, along with a National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 6 months - Healthcare experience
- 6 months - Medical Assistant experience
