Job Summary
Medical Assistant II supports licensed practitioner in a dermatology clinic, performing duties to assist in patient care. Fully competent in clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic/location. Performs in accordance with established policies and regulations. Requires Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire and BLS within 30 days of hire. Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of Medical Assistant experience. Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 6 months of Healthcare experience
- 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
- Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or Coursework/Training and Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or Coursework/Training and has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or Coursework/Training and minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
