Job Summary
Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers, coordinate patient care, and ensure accurate patient experiences in an outpatient clinic in Anacortes, WA. Responsibilities include rooming patients, administering vaccines and medications per provider direction, performing EKGs, spirometry, glucose testing, INR, pregnancy, TB, and other CLIA-waived tests; coordinating patient flow; maintaining records with confidentiality; inventory checks; monitoring vaccine refrigerators and medication expiration dates; and supporting quality and safety initiatives. Requires WA MA-C credential, current BLS, and an LPN license if applicable; two years of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant – Certified credential issued by the WA Department of Health (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- LPN license issued by the WA Department of Health (if applicable)
