Job Summary
Assists physician and other providers to examine and treat patients, including handling instruments, giving injections or immunizations, phlebotomy, coordinating registrations and payments, scheduling and coordinating follow-ups, preparing exam rooms, operating basic medical equipment (EKG), and facilitating clinic workflows while maintaining compliance with regulatory and privacy policies. Requires completion of accredited Medical Assistant program and national certification, CPR, and at least 1 year of experience; location in Memphis, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program
- Current national certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, NAHP, or CCMA)
- CPR certification (Upon Hire)
- At least 1 year experience as a medical assistant
